Wyldfyre's Transforming Dragon Mech lands in that frustrating middle zone where the concept outpaces the execution. 821 pieces is a solid count, and six minifigs give kids plenty to work with, but the $89.99 ask feels like it's pricing on the Ninjago name more than what's in the box. The transformation gimmick is the whole story here — pull on that thread and you have a fun play session; stop there and you have a shelf piece that doesn't quite command the space. Mech builds in this theme live or die by their silhouette, and this one reads a little cluttered from across a room. It's not a bad set, it's just a set that could've been sharper at every turn.
