691 pieces for $89.99 is a tough sell when the X-1 Ninja Charger looks like a set that should cost $60. Ninjago vehicle sets live and die by their minifig-to-fun ratio, and three figs don't paper over an F on price.
Is the price fair?B-$89.99 for this is a straight-up overshoot — comparable Ninjago sets do more for less.
Will you love it?CPerfectly serviceable, won't wow you, won't disappoint you — it just kind of exists.
Holds its value?C-Flat resale outlook; don't expect the secondary market to bail you out here.

The Full Take
The X-1 Ninja Charger has a cool name and a reasonable piece count, but LEGO® priced it into a bracket where it has to compete with sets that simply do more. Ninjago vehicles can be great — tight builds, wild parts, loads of play hooks — but this one doesn't bring enough novelty to justify where it sits on the shelf price-wise. Three minifigs is fine for a vehicle set, but it's not a reason to spend $90. The build grades out at a C, which means it's not painful, but it's not the kind of session you're texting your builder friends about either. Resale is similarly lukewarm — a C- hold means it's not going to quietly mint money in your closet. Buy this if you're completing a Ninjago collection or a specific kid is asking for it by name; otherwise, the math doesn't stack in your favor.
