At $19.99 for a Ninjago battle pack with a dragon beast in tow, the entry cost is one of the easier sells in this wave. Grimtak has enough menace to hold your attention during the build, but the overall execution stays shallow — the dragon feels like a sketch of an idea rather than a finished creature. Three minifigs round it out, though none carry enough character to make the lineup memorable. The build itself is straightforward to a fault; experienced builders will be done and slightly underwhelmed before the afternoon is out. It fits the Ninjago formula without doing much to stretch it. For a kid deep in the theme, that formula still works — for everyone else, it's a competent but forgettable entry in a crowded lineup.
