Twenty-four minifigs in one set. That's not a bonus — that's the whole argument for The Old Town, and it's a strong one.
The parts alone are worth about 179% of the street price — the basis for this B+ price read.
BargainThe parts alone are worth more than you pay — $578 of parts for $324.
The Old Town is a Ninjago city block that leans hard into the license: a dense, layered street scene with more character than most modular-adjacent builds LEGO® has put out in years. Twenty-four minifigs is the headline, and it earns the attention — the cast depth here is unusual for a single retail set. The build itself is substantial at nearly 5,000 pieces, though the finished model doesn't always feel like it delivers on that count visually. At $300 it's priced on the heavy side, and the 'what you get' relative to the price is where the set starts to show its limits. Still, for Ninjago fans, this is the kind of set that rarely shows up — an all-in location build with a full roster of characters that actually represents the world properly. The B+ overall is well-placed: a rewarding buy for the right person, a stretch for everyone else.
