Cole's Mission Mech is the kind of mid-tier Ninjago set that doesn't try to blow you away and is better for it. The mech silhouette is distinct enough to read as Cole's — darker palette, sturdy proportions — without going overboard on gimmicks. Three minifigs at this price point is a solid haul, and the build itself is a comfortable afternoon for a Ninjago fan of any age. It won't redefine your collection, but it won't disappoint the kid or the shelf it lands on either. A B is exactly right: this is a reliable set doing its job well.
