Seven minifigs in a $40 Ninjago village sounds like a win until you realize 305 pieces doesn't go very far — this set spreads itself thin trying to do too much at once.
Is the price fair?D+The minifig count flatters it, but the overall package feels stretched at $40.
Will you love it?CFun enough if you're already a Ninjago fan, forgettable if you're not.
Holds its value?CNothing here to make the secondary market stand up and take notice.

The Full Take
Dragonian Storm Village is one of those sets where the box looks more impressive than the build ends up feeling. Seven minifigs is a strong pull for the price, and the Ninjago faithful will appreciate the Storm Dragon theming, but 305 pieces leaves the village itself feeling sparse — more suggestion than structure. The build is quick and the play features are familiar: a flick-fire here, a breakaway wall there. It lands as a decent Ninjago entry for kids already in the theme, less compelling for anyone coming in cold. At $39.99 it's a tough sell against other sets at the same price that deliver more heft. Not a bad set, just a set that wants to be more than it is.
