The Titan Dragon Mech is one of those sets that photographs better than it prices. The dragon-mech hybrid silhouette is legitimately striking — poseable wings, layered armor, and a color palette that actually works for Cole's earth-tone aesthetic. But at $99.99 for just over a thousand pieces and a single minifig, LEGO® is asking a lot of your wallet for what you get. The build is solid, not revelatory — expect a fun afternoon, not a weekend project. On the shelf it holds its own, especially in a Ninjago display, but it doesn't dominate a room the way a set at this price point should.
