The Ninja Team Combo Vehicle does exactly what it promises: snap together individual ninja vehicles into one oversized combined mech, which is a genuinely fun concept. Six minifigs for a single set is a strong headcount, and kids who love Ninjago will light up at the team-up payoff. The build itself is serviceable — modular by design, so each section has its own personality before they merge. The problem is $89.99 for 576 pieces is a tough ask when the construction feels more playful than display-worthy, and the combined form is a little awkward on the shelf. It's a set that lives in the hands of an eight-year-old, not on a collector's desk. If that's the use case, it delivers — just not at a price that feels fair for what you get.
