Dragon Stone Shrine looks the part — imposing rock formations, a shrine worth defending, six minifigs ready for battle — but $120 for 1212 pieces is where Ninjago's ambition and LEGO®'s pricing have a disagreement.
Is the price fair?B$120 is a tough ask when the parts aren't doing anything extraordinary to justify it.
Will you love it?B+The finished shrine looks great on a shelf and six minifigs keep the battle scene alive.
Holds its value?CNinjago retains a loyal collector base but don't count on strong appreciation here.

The Full Take
The Dragon Stone Shrine is one of those sets where the photography does a lot of heavy lifting, and to be fair, the finished model holds up in person too. Rocky textures, layered elevation, and a shrine centerpiece give it real display weight for a Ninjago build. Six minifigs is a generous roster and the battle setup justifies every one of them. Where it stumbles is the price — $120 feels like a stretch for what's here when you compare it to similarly sized sets across other themes. The build itself is enjoyable but leans more on repetitive rock-stacking than clever techniques, which can make the middle stretch feel like a slog. For a Ninjago fan, the payoff at the end is real; for everyone else, it's a solid B that falls short of must-buy territory mostly because the price doesn't quite match the wow factor.
