Six minifigs and a fully staged fighting arena — Ninjago doing what Ninjago does best, giving kids an actual place to play instead of just characters to collect.
The parts alone are worth about 150% of the street price — the basis for this B+ price read.
BargainThe parts alone are worth more than you pay — $66 of parts for $44.
The Tournament Battle Arena leans hard into what makes Ninjago endure: it's a set with a purpose. Six minifigs means you have combatants the moment the box is open, and the arena itself gives every fight scene a stage instead of just a floor. At 659 pieces it's a satisfying weekend build without overstaying its welcome. Fifty dollars is fair but not a steal — you're getting solid play value, not a display trophy. The build techniques are functional rather than inventive, so don't expect any jaw-dropping construction moments. But for what it's trying to be — a Ninjago action hub — it delivers a clean B.
