Arin's Ninja Off-Road Buggy Car has the right energy for a Ninjago fan: chunky vehicle design, a cast of four, and that satisfying mid-tier build that doesn't overstay its welcome. The buggy itself has decent presence with its off-road proportions, even if it's not going to win any shelf awards next to a titan set. Four minifigs at this price point is where LEGO® earns some goodwill back — that's a solid roster for a $50 ask. The build clocks in under an hour for most, which makes it a great weekend afternoon set rather than a weekend project. Where it stumbles is the sticker shock relative to what's in the box; this is a theme set, not a premium one, and the price reflects neither.
