Egalt looks the part — a silver dragon with five minifigs has real shelf appeal — but $69.99 for 533 pieces is a tough ask when Ninjago dragons at this price tier rarely move the needle on secondary markets.
Is the price fair?C+$69.99 for 533 pieces is a rough deal in a theme that has trained buyers to expect more dragon for their money.
Will you love it?B-The dragon design is legitimately fun and the silver-teal color scheme earns a second look — just don't expect a challenge.
Holds its value?C-Ninjago dragons are common enough that this one won't stand out when the secondary market fills up.

The Full Take
Egalt the Master Dragon is a set that wins on vibe and loses on value. The dragon build itself is expressive, with articulated wings and a color palette that stands out from the usual Ninjago palette — silver and teal is a strong combo. Five minifigs for a $70 set feels generous until you realize the piece count doesn't back up the price tag. The build experience is competent but not ambitious; experienced builders will finish this in an evening and not think much about it. Kids will love flying the dragon around, which is probably who this was designed for in the first place. As a display piece it holds its own, but it won't anchor a shelf the way a flagship dragon set does. Buy it because your kid wants it or you're a Ninjago completionist — don't buy it to feel clever about the purchase.
