Zane's dragon-infused race car is a fun Ninjago mash-up that kids will tear up the floor with, but $34.99 for 307 pieces is a stretch that's hard to ignore.
Is the price fair?B+$34.99 for this is a tough sell — the value just isn't there in the box.
Will you love it?B-Ninjago fans who dig the dragon aesthetic will have a good time; casual buyers might feel underwhelmed.
Holds its value?C-Don't park money here expecting it to grow — Ninjago has a deep back catalog and this one won't stand out on the secondary market.

The Full Take
There's something genuinely charming about Ninjago's willingness to smash two cool things together — in this case, a dragon and a race car — and just go with it. The result is a set that leans hard into play value: four minifigs, a swooshable vehicle, and enough Ninjago lore baked in to keep a fan engaged. The build itself is competent but not ambitious — this isn't a set that challenges you, it moves you from A to B quickly and puts a toy in your hands. That's fine for its target audience, but the price tag sits uncomfortably high for what lands on the table. A B- overall feels right: it does its job, it just charges a bit too much to do it. Ninjago fans will be happy; everyone else will wonder if they could've gotten more for thirty-five dollars.
