The Full Take
For a sub-$20 Ninjago set, the Hound has more visual bite than you'd expect — a snarling mech-creature with poseable limbs and a silhouette that actually reads as threatening. Three minifigs at this tier is a genuine win, and the Imperium villains fill a specific gap in any Ninjago collection. The build itself is straightforward but the parts work together well enough that it doesn't feel like a checkbox exercise. Where it stumbles is the price: $19.99 for 198 pieces sits on the wrong side of fair, and that's hard to ignore when comparable sets do more for less.
