The Full Take
Zane's Ice Dragon Creature is the kind of set that looks great in the box and lands a little flat once it's built. The dragon form is expressive and the color palette is clean — icy blues and whites do what they're supposed to do for a Zane build. Five minifigs is a solid haul, and the articulated creature format gives kids something to actually play with. The problem is the price. At $99.99, this wave was asking a lot, and Zane's entry doesn't bring the parts variety or the wow-moment techniques to justify the premium over its siblings. It's a C+ set in a C+ way: not broken, not special, just a little shy of the mark.
