635 pieces at $89.99 is a tough sell when the dragon itself is the only thing doing any heavy lifting — the rest of the set feels like paid padding around one good centrepiece.
Is the price fair?C-$89.99 for this much filler — the dragon alone doesn't carry that tag.
Will you love it?B-The dragon centrepiece is solid; everything built around it is an afterthought.
Holds its value?C-Ninjago vehicle sets don't tend to age into anything special on the secondary market.

The Full Take
The Golden Dragon Raider has one job: make Kai look cool, and the dragon centrepiece mostly delivers. But $89.99 for this much filler is where the set loses the room — the vehicle chassis and enemy builds feel like they exist to justify the price tag, not to add genuine play or display value. Seven minifigs sounds impressive until you realise half of them are generic Ninjago soldiers you've seen before. The dragon mould does give the set real shelf presence if you pose it right, and Ninjago fans will find enough here to enjoy the build afternoon. The love grade lands at B- for a reason: there's a real set buried in here, just not quite enough of it for what LEGO® is charging. A discount around the $60–65 range is where this clicks into place.
