The Full Take
The golden dragon aesthetic is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, and to its credit, it mostly lands — the color scheme is striking and the jet silhouette reads well at a distance. Three minifigs is decent for a smaller Ninjago set, and kids who are already invested in Zane's arc will get the most out of it. The build itself is pretty standard fare: no jaw-dropping techniques, no parts that make you stop and think. Where this set stumbles hardest is the price — $34.99 for 267 pieces puts it in awkward territory, sitting above similarly sized competitors without offering anything to justify the gap. The love grade is a genuine bright spot; if you care about Ninjago, the theming delivers. Resale is middling at best — nothing here screams long-term demand. Buy it for the dragon energy, not the box art promise.
