The Full Take
The dragon itself has real shelf presence: swooping wings, gold accents, and enough color to own a display shelf in any Ninjago fan's room. Four minifigs round out the package nicely, and the build is engaging enough that kids and fans will enjoy the process. The problem is the price — at $70, LEGO® is asking a premium this set hasn't earned against comparable sets in the line. The C+ overall score reflects a set that gets a lot right aesthetically but stumbles on value. If you catch it on sale, the calculus changes fast. At full MSRP, it's a pass unless Lloyd specifically lives in your heart.
