The Full Take
The Tournament of Elements set punches well above its price tag, and the minifig haul is the obvious reason why — seven figures for thirty dollars is the kind of ratio that makes you double-check the box. The battle arena build is modest but functional, giving those figs something to actually do rather than just stand around. It's not a showstopper on a shelf, but it holds together with enough color and character to read as a complete scene. Hardcore builders won't find much to chew on here — the techniques are basic and the piece count is low. But as a Ninjago collector or a parent trying to stretch a birthday budget, this one's hard to argue with. The weak spot is resale: nothing about this set suggests it'll be a sleeper hit once it retires. Buy it because it's a good deal now, not because you think it gets better later.
