Kai's Blade Cycle is a small set that knows exactly what it is: a $9.99 impulse buy for the Ninjago kid in your life. The cycle itself is simple but recognizable, and the two minifigs — Kai and a Snake villain — are the real draw. At this price point the piece count is thin, and there's no getting around the fact that you're paying a premium for the license. That said, for a parent grabbing something quick before a birthday party, it's cheerful and on-theme. Display collectors and serious builders will look right past it, and investors shouldn't expect much from a set this small and plentiful.
