The Epic Battle sets have a specific job: deliver a tight, affordable skirmish with the characters kids actually want. Jay vs. Serpentine does that cleanly — two solid minifigs, a small diorama stage, and a price that doesn't hurt. The build itself is skeletal, more backdrop than display piece, and 78 pieces won't satisfy anyone chasing a meaty session. But as a grab-and-go gift or a way to fill out a Ninjago collection cheaply, it lands where it needs to. The value floor is a real problem though — this one has almost no secondary market upside, so buy it to use it.
