The Full Take
Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons has a lot working in its favor: eight minifigs, a dungeon aesthetic that actually translates well in brick form, and enough modular rooms to keep a build session interesting. The problem is LEGO® asked $100 for it, and the set never quite justifies that number. At $70 this would be an easy recommendation; at $99.99 it sits in an uncomfortable middle zone where you're always doing the math in your head. The minifig lineup is solid for Ninjago fans — Skull Sorcerer himself is the clear standout — and the play features are well thought out for the theme. But display collectors will find it too busy and too toy-like to anchor a shelf, and investors won't find much upside here either. It's a good set wearing a price tag that belongs on a great one.
