The Full Take
Jay and Lloyd sharing a set sounds like a dream pairing, and the dual-racer format delivers some genuine play energy. The cars are styled well enough for Ninjago, with the elemental color splits giving each vehicle its own identity. But 323 pieces at $29.99 stings — this is a set that would have been a no-brainer at $24.99 and becomes a debate at its actual price. The build itself is approachable but not memorable, the kind of afternoon session you finish and move on from. Three minifigs is a decent haul, and Jay and Lloyd are always crowd-pleasers with the Ninjago crowd. As a play set it holds up; as anything else, it's harder to defend. The C+ feels right — not broken, just priced past its ceiling.
