The Full Take
The mech jet concept is genuinely cool for Ninjago — Kai's fire aesthetic carries through the design and kids who are into the theme will have a blast. The build itself is straightforward but satisfying, with the jet-to-mech hybrid giving it some personality on the shelf. Two minifigs is fine for the scale, and the play features work as intended. The problem is the price point. At $19.99, this set asks for more than it delivers compared to competing Ninjago sets from the same era. It's a C for a reason — not bad, not great, just a set that could've been something if LEGO® had either added more or charged less. Buy it on sale and it's a different conversation entirely.
