The Spinjitzu Ninja Training line is doing a specific job: give kids a fast, playable dose of Ninjago without a $50 commitment. Kai's entry nails the fun part — the spinner works, the minifig looks sharp, and a kid can be up and running in ten minutes flat. The problem is $9.99 for 33 pieces is a rough ask in 2022, and LEGO® knows parents are buying these as extras, not as a main gift. Display collectors will mostly pass; there's not enough to anchor a shelf. Builders will be in and out before the coffee brews.
