The Spinjitzu Burst line was LEGO® testing whether a spinner gimmick could carry a nearly-nothing build, and Lloyd's version lands somewhere in the middle. Forty-eight pieces isn't a build — it's an assembly, done in minutes, forgotten by lunch. The tornado disc display is the whole point, and it does look decent propped on a shelf if you're deep in Ninjago decor. At ten bucks the price is fair enough, but fair doesn't mean exciting. The minifig is good — Lloyd in a clean gi with sharp printing — and that's probably the most lasting thing in the box. Value retention is soft; these didn't move the secondary market needle much. Buy it because your kid loves Lloyd, not because the set has much else going for it.
