The Land Bounty is Ninjago doing what Ninjago does best: going completely overboard in the most satisfying way possible. A giant treaded battle-truck with a massive cannon, opening compartments, and enough play surface to keep a kid busy for hours — this is a centrepiece set that actually feels like one. Nine minifigs is a number you don't see often at this price point, and every one of them adds to the scene rather than padding it. The build itself is chunky and confident, full of the kind of mechanical detail that rewards a slow build session. At $129.99 for what's in the box, 2019 LEGO® was doing its audience a solid.
