The Full Take
The Storm Fighter has the right Ninjago energy: lightning motifs, a dramatic wing span, and four minifigs including Jay himself. But LEGO® set the price at a point where the build experience has to carry the whole ticket, and it doesn't fully deliver. The techniques are straightforward, the cockpit feels a bit hollow, and the playability is serviceable without being spectacular. It's a B- for a reason — kids who love Ninjago will enjoy it, adults shopping on vibes might feel the sting later. The minifig selection is the strongest argument for picking it up; the fighter itself is fine, not iconic. Call it a solid mid-tier Ninjago set that peaked at retail and hasn't done much since.
