The Full Take
Lloyd and Garmadon facing off is peak Ninjago drama, and as a minifig delivery vehicle this set does its job — both figures are solid representations of their characters. The Spinjitzu spinner mechanic is the whole point here, and whether that's a feature or a flaw depends entirely on who's buying. At $19.99 for 208 pieces the price feels stretched thin, especially when the bulk of those pieces are the spinner chassis rather than anything you'd display or admire. There's genuine play fun packed in here for kids who are already in the Ninjago universe, but it won't wow anyone expecting a proper set. The value floor is essentially nonexistent once it retires, which keeps this one in C+ territory — fine for what it is, hard to justify on anything else.
