The Full Take
Spinjitzu Kai is one of those sets that makes sense as a concept and then sort of stops there. The spinning top mechanic is fun for about five minutes, and the vortex build looks decent enough in motion, but 97 pieces doesn't leave much room for anything to shine. Kai's minifig is solid — flame details, good printing — and that's probably the best thing in the box. The C+ score fits: nothing here is broken, nothing here is exciting. It's a fine grab if you're completing a collection or need a small gift, but there's no standout reason to prioritize it.
