The Oni Titan is one of those sets where the price does most of the selling before you even crack the box. Four minifigs at $49.99 in 2018 was a deal that stood out even by Ninjago standards, and the titan mech itself brings a dark, imposing energy that fits the theme's villain arc perfectly. The build isn't going to challenge a seasoned AFOL, but the end result has real shelf presence — that angular, horned silhouette reads as a villain from across the room. Where it falls short is in the parts themselves: 530 pieces that don't leave you with a ton of useful inventory once the set is done. As a display piece it punches above its weight class; as a parts haul, it's thin. The C- hold grade keeps it from being a lock for everyone, but for fans of the Oni saga this was a near-perfect retail release.
