The Full Take
The Quake Mech is one of those sets that does everything competently and nothing memorably. Five minifigs sounds solid until you realize the mech's design is more 'generic movie tie-in' than 'standout shelf piece.' At 1202 pieces it's a decent afternoon build, but the techniques are straightforward — don't expect to be surprised. The LEGO® Ninjago Movie line had a rough run overall, riding a film that underperformed, and this set carries that weight. Ninety dollars was a stretch at launch and feels worse in hindsight. A C is the grade because it clears the bar — just barely, and not by much.
