The Full Take
The Destiny's Bounty has always been Ninjago's crown jewel, and this Movie-era version brings serious shelf weight with its layered hull, rigging detail, and seven minifigs packed into the deal. The build is long and satisfying — 2296 pieces means a genuine weekend project, not a two-hour sit. But $159.99 felt steep at launch and the secondary market hasn't rewarded patience the way collectors hoped, so this isn't a buy-and-hold story. What it IS is a legitimately impressive display piece for anyone deep in the Ninjago universe. The minifig lineup covers the core Movie cast cleanly, which matters for theme completionists. If you love the property, the love grade earns the purchase; if you're chasing value or a flip, there are better ships to sail.
