Four minifigs for $50 sounds fine until you realize the dragon itself is the kind of hollow, gappy build that makes you question every life choice. The price/value here is rough.
Is the price fair?F$50 for a dragon with more gaps than substance — the F is earned.
Will you love it?C+It's a decent Ninjago display piece if the movie holds a place in your heart, but the build won't wow you.
Holds its value?C-Ninjago Movie sets have cooled significantly in secondary market interest — don't bank on a bounce.

The Full Take
The Green Ninja Mech Dragon has one job — look imposing enough to justify the Ninjago Movie tie-in — and it only half-delivers. The mech dragon silhouette reads well from across the room, but get close and the gaps in the body panels tell a less flattering story. Four minifigs is a solid headcount for a set this size, and Lloyd fans will appreciate the Movie-era character designs. The build itself is serviceable, leaning on standard articulation techniques without much that surprises or challenges. At $49.99 for 544 pieces, the price lands harder than it should given the structural hollowness. It's not a bad set, just one that feels like it was priced for the movie hype rather than what's actually in the box. A C- overall feels right — not a skip, but not a priority either.
