Four minifigs at $29.99 is the real story here — that kind of headcount at this price point is rare, and the waterfall build gives them somewhere worth standing.
Is the price fair?A+Four minifigs and a waterfall for $29.99 — the math was never the problem here.
Will you love it?C+Fun environment, great character selection, but the build itself won't blow anyone away.
Holds its value?C-The Ninjago Movie line hasn't aged into a collector's darling — don't bank on this one turning heads at resale.
The Full Take
Master Falls doesn't pretend to be a centerpiece set, but it punches well above its weight on minifig value. The waterfall environment is a backdrop more than a build, but it frames the characters cleanly and doesn't embarrass itself on a shelf. Four minifigs for thirty bucks was generous in 2017 and looks even better now. The Ninjago Movie line had its share of filler, and this one skirts the edge — the piece count is modest and the structure is fairly simple. That said, for a casual fan or a kid who wanted movie-accurate characters, this was a smart grab. The B+ overall reflects a set that does its job without doing much more.
