The Full Take
The Venomised variant line is doing something genuinely interesting with Marvel lore, mashing up fan-favorite villains with the symbiote aesthetic, and Doc Ock is one of the better picks for it. That said, 27 pieces is a tough pill — you're getting a minifig, a tiny build, and not much else. The figure itself has some charm, and the tentacle detailing on a Venom-fused Ock is a concept that lands visually even at minifig scale. But the price grades out at a D+, and that's hard to shake when you're holding the box. It works best as a shelf companion to a larger Spider-Man display rather than a standalone purchase. If you're deep in the Venomised series, it fits — otherwise it's a tough sell at full retail.
