Iron Man Mosaic is one of the most lopsided LEGO® sets ever made — 2305 pieces, nearly ten hours of build time, and the payoff is a flat tile portrait that barely registers as display art. The 'what you get' score of 1.9 tells you everything: this set asks an enormous amount of you and gives very little back. There are no minifigs, no clever techniques, no clever geometry — just stud-on-stud pixel work stretched across a frame. Marvel fans hoping for something worthy of a shelf will find a piece that looks better in a product photo than it does on an actual wall. The D+ overall isn't cruel — it's accurate. Unless the meditative grind of sorting 2305 flat tiles sounds like a good weekend, this one is hard to recommend on almost any front.
