The Full Take
Steam locomotives don't show up in City often, so when one does it carries some weight. The 579-piece build lands in that comfortable middle zone — detailed enough to display, not so complex it loses the fun of the build itself. Five minifigs is a reasonable crew for a train set, and the vintage styling gives it a warmth that modern City sets rarely bother with. The price is where things get murky: $89.99 is on the steeper side for what you're getting, and the value story doesn't quite close. It's not a set that'll make your jaw drop or your wallet weep — it's a B- for a reason. Worth it if trains are your thing; harder to justify if you're on the fence.
