The police train heist concept has real energy on paper: moving vehicles, bad guys, a chase — the kind of scenario kids actually play out. But at $200, LEGO® is asking a lot for a City set that doesn't reinvent the format. Six minifigs is respectable for the theme, and the train itself will look sharp on a track layout, but the piece count doesn't stretch far enough to feel like a premium experience. Builders will find some fun in the train construction, though don't expect the technique depth of a Creator Expert build. For parents, the play pattern is strong even if the price stings.
