A police jet pursuing a getaway car is one of those premises where the kid grabs it mid-build and starts the story before you've finished — at $29.99, that payoff-to-price ratio is hard to argue with.

The Full Take
Jet vs. Car is the kind of set that reminds you City can still nail the core pitch: dramatic scenario, solid build, fair price. The stunt jet has genuine shelf presence for a small-scale model, and the chase dynamic gives kids an actual story to play through rather than a vague 'city scene.' At $29.99 for 259 pieces and two minifigs, LEGO® left room for buyers to feel good about the transaction. The B+ on love reflects that it's not breaking new ground — it's a tight, well-executed concept in a familiar lane. But tight and well-executed is exactly what a $30 City set should be.
