Hot rods are a tricky subject for LEGO®: too simple and they feel lazy, too complex and they lose the chunky charm. This one lands in a decent middle ground — 81 pieces shaped into something that actually looks the part, with a price that doesn't make you wince. It's a B set in the best sense: nothing groundbreaking, but nothing wasted either. The single minifig fits the vibe, the build is quick and satisfying, and it sits on a shelf without embarrassing itself. For under ten dollars, City has pulled off worse.
