The spinning drum actually rotates — small detail, but it sells the whole fantasy. A functional City workhorse that does what it says on the box, even if $39.99 is pushing it for what you get.
The parts alone are worth about 193% of the street price — the basis for this A- price read.
BargainThe parts alone are worth more than you pay — $63 of parts for $33.
Cement mixers don't get a lot of love in the hobby, but this one earns a look. The rotating drum is the centerpiece — tactile, satisfying, and the kind of moving part kids instinctively reach for. Three minifigs give the construction site some life, and the overall footprint feels right for a City display without dominating shelf space. The B- overall is fair: it's a solid set that does its job without doing anything remarkable. Where it stumbles is the price — $39.99 for 371 pieces in 2026 is tight, and LEGO®'s City pricing has been creeping in a way that's hard to ignore. If you're already building out a construction scene, this slots in naturally. If you're buying standalone, temper expectations on the wow factor.
