The Full Take
City keeps getting weirder, and that's a compliment. The premise here — a plane and a hospital bed locked in a street race — sounds like a fever dream, but it works precisely because LEGO® leaned into the bit. At $9.99 this is a grab-bag impulse buy that actually makes sense: two distinct builds, two minifigs, and a concept silly enough to make a kid (or an adult) genuinely laugh out loud. The builds themselves are micro and fast, which is the point — this is a playset disguised as a pocket purchase. It won't sit pretty on a shelf and it won't retire into a windfall, but it was never trying to do either of those things. For what it is, it's one of the more charming $10 City sets in recent memory.
