Two micro racers designed to settle a very specific debate — pizza delivery vs. fire truck, which one wins? It's goofy and cheap and somehow totally works.
The parts alone are worth about 119% of the street price — the basis for this B- price read.
BargainThe parts alone are worth more than you pay — $9 of parts for $7.
The premise here is so dumb it loops back around to charming: LEGO® built a race car shaped like a pizza box and pitted it against a fire truck racer, slapped two minifigs in them, and called it a day. At $9.99 this sits comfortably in impulse-buy territory — not a steal, but not a rip-off either for what amounts to a solid starter pack. The builds are quick and light, but the character design on both vehicles is doing real work; the pizza car especially has a personality that punches above its size. Play value for young kids is obvious — two cars, two drivers, instant rivalry. Shelf presence is basically zero, collector interest is thin, and resale will flatline, but none of that is who this set is for. This is a birthday gift for a six-year-old who will immediately race these across the kitchen floor, and on that metric it delivers.
