The Full Take
The Emergency Ambulance isn't trying to reinvent anything, and that's sort of the point. At $19.99 it lands in that sweet spot where parents don't hesitate and kids don't have to wait for a birthday. The build itself is straightforward — nothing that'll challenge a seasoned builder, but the proportions are clean and the ambulance reads well from any angle. Two minifigs and a stretcher setup give kids an immediate story to play out, which is where this set does its best work. It won't anchor a display shelf or hold serious resale value, but as a workhorse City set that does what it says on the box, the B+ holds up.
