The Wheel Loader does exactly what it says on the box: a chunky, recognizable construction vehicle with a working scoop and two minifigs to run the job site. The build is short and familiar, which works for young builders but leaves experienced hands wanting more. At $14.99, the set sits in a tricky spot — not cheap enough to be a no-brainer impulse buy, not substantial enough to justify the price without hesitation. The two minifigs are a nice inclusion for the scale, and the yellow colorway pops, but there's nothing here that distinguishes it from the dozen wheel loaders LEGO® has made before.
