Is the price fair?C+$40 for 467 pieces and four figs is a tough sell — LEGO® left almost no room for goodwill here.
Will you love it?BThe four-minifig pack-in and chase scenario keep this from being forgettable.
Holds its value?C-Flat resale outlook — City police sets rarely develop a collector following after retirement.

The Full Take
The minifig count here is the headline: four characters in a sub-$50 City set is a ratio LEGO® doesn't hand out often. The off-road build has enough bulk to feel substantial, and the chase scenario gives kids an actual story to play through. But $39.99 for 467 pieces is where this thing stubs its toe — the price sits noticeably high relative to what ends up in your hands. The vehicles are fun without being remarkable, and the parts selection won't light up any builder's eyes. As a shelf piece it's competent but forgettable; as a playset it punches a bit above its weight. The C+ overall says it all: not a miss, not a must, just a set that does most things adequately and one thing well.
