Six minifigs in a City set at this price is the move — the garage, the Mercedes-AMG, and the Alpine all feel like a real paddock moment crammed into one box.
Is the price fair?AYou're paying a licensing premium — the IP is hot but the box isn't cheap for what's inside.
Will you love it?BThree cars, a full garage, six figs — this one has staying power on a shelf or a playroom floor.
Holds its value?C+Decent mid-term hold, but F1 licensing sets rarely become sleepers.

The Full Take
F1 is having a cultural moment, and LEGO® is cashing in with a set that actually delivers on the fantasy. Three cars, a working garage, and six minifigs give this thing a density of play and display that most City sets at this tier can't match. The build itself is solid — nothing groundbreaking, but the vehicles have enough detail to feel like real machines rather than toyetic blobs. The price stings a little for 686 pieces; you're paying for the license and the IP heat, not raw brick count. Still, the overall package hangs together well. If you have any affection for F1, this one is easy to rationalize on a shelf or under the tree.
