Six minifigs, a modular layout you can rearrange, and a space station aesthetic that actually looks coherent from a distance — this set has the bones of something special. The modular gimmick is the real story here: snap sections apart, rebuild differently, hand pieces to a sibling. That's genuine replay value, and not every City set can say that. The trouble is $109.99 for 1099 pieces in the City line is a hard sell when comparable builds in other themes deliver more spectacle at the same price. The minifig lineup is solid for a space theme, and the color blocking in white and dark blue reads cleanly on a shelf. It's a B-tier set in the truest sense — good at most things, exceptional at none, and priced just aggressively enough to make you pause before you add it to cart.
