109 bucks for a City crane that doesn't extend, doesn't really move, and ships with four minifigs you've seen a hundred times — this one asks a lot and delivers medium.
Is the price fair?F$110 for a crane that doesn't extend is a hard sell.
Will you love it?C+Solid but safe — the build is fine, the result is forgettable.

The Full Take
The Mobile Construction Crane is exactly the kind of set that looks better on a box than it does in your hands. 1116 pieces sounds substantial until you realize a big chunk of that is technic scaffolding buried inside a truck cab that won't win any display awards. The crane arm is fixed — no real extension, limited articulation — which undercuts the whole fantasy of a construction crane. Four minifigs is fine but they're completely generic City workers with zero personality. At $109.99 this is competing with sets that do significantly more: better displays, better builds, better play patterns. The C+ on love is generous on a good day. If you're a City completionist, you already know you're getting it — everyone else should pause.
